Most incubators get warm. Only some incubators get cold as well. These incubators are the special ones. (Just don't tell the general purpose incubators we said that!)
These refrigerated incubators cover a range of temperatures suitable for most laboratory experiments. If you need a wider range of environmental conditions for your testing purposes, or if you need humidity, please see the environmental chambers.
Need to stably and reliably hold a temperature near room temperature? You'll need a refrigerated incubator for that as well. Most heating-only incubators have a minimum temperature above the ambient temperature (usually 5-10°C above ambient, depending on the specific model) which they are able to heat to, even if their minimum setpoint temperature is lower. Below that point, and it won't be able to hold the temperature.
